Sunday with Joe Wicks: ‘I might change my outfit three times a day’ | Sunday with…

Up early? Usually 7:30am – not too early. I get up and do my workouts to get them out of the way.
Advice for Sunday slackers? If you are busy and stressed during the week, you should look at the weekend as a chance to exercise, cook and eat dinner early, because what you do on the weekend determines how you feel on Monday.
Has Sunday always been healthy? No. Years ago I was leaving a nightclub at 3am. I met my wife, Rosie, at a rave. I like a day on the couch, watching movies, cuddling, but it’s not like when we had a baby who slept all day. Children demand attention.
What are you watching? Rosie and I just watched Baby fawn. But with the kids – a five-year-old, a four-year-old, a one-year-old and one on the way – we’re more likely to watch Kung Fu Panda or Disney princess movies.
What are you eating? I might make an egg and bacon sandwich for breakfast. I love going out for a good Sunday roast with a pint of coke and sticky toffee pudding. I’m pretty greedy and can make a tub of Ben & Jerry’s in one sitting. But not every day!
Sunday housework? I have to clean repeatedly. I’ll make breakfast, maybe a recipe, share a video, then have lunch… And work from home. And Rosie also works from home. I can’t handle all the cleaning.
Sunday arguments? I am good at cleaning plates, bowls, glasses. But I get bored and lose focus with knives and forks. And I’ll leave the clothes in a pile on the chair because I might change my outfit three times a day…
Time for me on Sunday? If it’s sunny, I’ll go out for an hour or two on the bike – I have a Triumph cruiser.
