ING services are returning to normal after some customers were locked out of their banking app and website earlier this morning.
In an updated statement, the bank said most Australian customers should find the issue resolved, but some international users may still be affected.
“Services are returning to normal. Most customers should now be able to access the ING app and online banking and make payments and transfers,” ING said.
“While we complete the restoration, some overseas customers may experience some issues accessing the app and website and we will provide updates on this soon.
“We sincerely apologize to all customers who have been affected.”
At the peak of the outage, 987 customers were blocked from the app and website, according to Downdetector.
ING experienced a similar issue affecting its services just under two weeks ago on November 14th and again on October 30th.
