Convicted rapist and serial sex offender back behind bars less than two weeks after release

Police allege he failed to comply with his supervision order by searching and viewing explicit material.
Willmott appeared at Waverley Magistrates’ Court this afternoon, where he was represented by a legal aid lawyer, who indicated the 51-year-old would plead guilty – although the plea has not been formally entered – and will not apply for bail.
Wilmot was 15 when he was part of the gang of five teenagers who kidnapped, raped and then killed Bolding in 1988.
He did not rape or kill Bolding himself, but he was sentenced to almost 10 years in prison for his role as an accessory to her abduction and assault.
After being released on parole, Wilmot assaulted four other women in the late 1990s and was sent back to prison.
His bail was officially refused today and the case was adjourned to July 5.
