Two children walking down a Washington street earlier this week were allegedly approached by a man and woman in a vehicle who then tried to strike up a conversation with them before running away.
The 10-year-old and 11-year-old were walking along Cherry Well Rd near Downes St in Pink Lake, west of Esperance, about 3.30pm on Monday when they were approached.
A dark or black car with four doors stopped near the children, in which there were a woman and a man.
The woman then allegedly tried to start a conversation with the children before the vehicle “drove off”, Washington DC Police said.
