90+8 minutes: And almost a goal at the last second! The ball falls to Townsend, whose low shot from the edge of the area is on its way and Pickford is gone until Branthwaite throws out a leg to deflect it wide. And that’s the last shot in the game!
90+7 minutes: That’s headed too, but then Sambi Lokonga is fouled and Luton have what is surely now a last chance from a free-kick on the left.

74 minutes: Chong holds the ball on the right, Woodrow runs through the middle and Edebayo is completely uncovered further left. He tries to find the first one, goes over his pass and Pickford collects.
71 minutes: Luton enlists Woodrow for Onyedinma. They must score at least once without conceding and have 20 minutes to do so.
69 minutes: Everton come closer now! Harrison’s shot deflects off Osho and into the top corner, but Kaminski turns it wide of the post!
67 minutes: Another Luton corner, this one conceded by Harrison, who drops a boot just as Doughty appears to have eluded him. Everton brought Coleman for Young before it was taken.
66 minutes: Tarkowski headed in a corner but it was deflected back to Doughty and this time he found the head of Barkley who fired over the bar. And probably a little wider than that.
65 minutes: Chong wins another corner. The law of averages may soon decide to kick in.
63 minutes: Luton win a free-kick but their cross is cleared again.
62 minutes: Now the hosts have a corner. The volume from the crowd goes up a notch. Corner is cleared but Luton have a chance.

The players are already coming back. Andros Townsend was warming up at half-time and if he isn’t introduced yet, it certainly won’t be for long.
I think the answer to this question is: not much because the ball didn’t go in and if he had missed it Everton would take a goal kick.

45+6 minutes: Just before the break Doughty sent in another good cross from the left which was headed and then cleared by Godfrey. Everton goes through at the other end, but the attempted pass to Calvert-Lewin is deflected out of play. And that’s the end of the half!
45+4 minutes: Morris fired a shot that narrowly missed the far post. It was a very open game. Glimpses of good play but both teams wasted no time getting the ball forward.
45+2 minutes: Harrison’s cross is headed by Mengi into Osho’s back and deflects just wide!
45+1 minutes: The first of six minutes of added time and Doughty’s shot was easily saved by Pickford. This is the first shot on target that didn’t go in.
44 minutes: The free-kick is pumped into the box, headed in and Tarkowski sends it curling across the six-yard box from where it is cleared.
